A special announcement!

Hello Luna Station Quarterly Readers!

I'm sure many of you have heard about the NYT review of the TV version "A Game of Thrones" by now. If you have not, in brief, the review has been viewed by many self-professed geek girls as an insult. It is this kind of attitude towards both women and genre fiction that drove your editor to start this site in the first place.

In reaction, the fantasy-reading women of the internet have decided to found the #GeekGirls Book Club and will kick things off by reading "The Hobbit" starting May 1st. There is a Twitter hashtag to follow (#GGBC) for the main reading group and there is also a Facebook group. Luna Station Quarterly is proud to be hosting the goodreads branch of this endeavor and we hope you join us!
