Missive from the Station #4
NaNoWriMo starts at midnight tomorrow night! For those who don't know, it's an annual experiment, crazy endeavor, and community effort to get people writing that novel they always talk about. 50,000 words in 30 days, that's 1667 words per day, every day, for the month of November. Your intrepid editor will be tackling NaNoWriMo for the fourth time, though admittedly as a rebel. (I've already been working on my novel for a while now) If you'd like to join in the fun and insanity, you can sign up here, and 'friend' Jennifer_Lyn if you'd like. Of course, you can just follow along and watch the crazy writers, but what fun is that?
We're open until November 15th for submissions for our annual drabble issue where we challenge you to pull off a full, cohesive story in exactly 100 words, no more, no less. Think you've got one that has what it takes? Send it in! You can find more details on our submissions page.
Our featured story of the week is "Endymion" by S. MacLeod. Please go read it and enjoy!
If you enjoyed our featured story, or any of the other stories in this issue, please consider twittering, google+ing or facebooking, and passing on the reading joy to someone you know.
