Maria Brekke is a speculative fiction writer who finds inspiration in creating magic from the mundane. Maria publishes short stories in various genres and is working on a fantasy novel. She is also a civil litigation attorney in Minnesota, where she lives with her husband, daughter, and dog. Maria has taken workshops with the Loft Literary Center and Sackett Street Writers, and her work has been published in Luna Station Quarterly, PodCastle, and the TL;DR Press.
The on-going mission of Luna Station Quarterly is to display the vast and varied talents of female-identified speculative fiction writers. We believe that women have a unique and universal voice in fiction and we aim to get it heard.
